Budapest

There are 23 districts within the capital city and PARSON International along with their partner agent in Budapest, recommend the following districts as areas to consider for investment.

District V – is the main business district and includes the parliament buildings together with a wide range of shops and restaurants.  This is considered a safe investment district with capital appreciation strong with the most exclusive properties overlooking the Danube.

District VI  – along Andrassy Ut, reputed to be the city’s most beautiful boulevard with the State Opera House, Liszt Music Academy, various Embassies and City Park.  Properties near Andrassy or the ring road are sound investments.

District VII – the historic Jewish quarter contains several Synagogues, restaurants and hotels.  Best for investors looking for students studying at the Veterinary School or Medical University.

District VIII – offers the most reasonably priced apartments. The government is investing in substantial restoration and rehabilitation of this District.  Substantial capital growth is expected over the next 10-15 years. District IX - one of the most dynamic and fastest developing areas of the capital.  The area offers a wide selection of services.  The relative vicinity of the Semmelwiess medical University campus further boosts the real estate’s value.  The local municipality is investing large amounts into a ‘development area’ within this district.

District XIII – A more exclusive and elegant area with tree lined streets and public parks is especially attractive to city lovers who require a hint of country living.  Bordered by the Danube and the Westend shopping area with the Hilton Hotel and headquarters for Vodafone Hungary.  This area is currently experiencing a building boom.  An excellent area for capital growth.
